With the ever-advancing knowledge in science, people today are positive about the development in curing herpes. Curing herpes would significantly transform the lives of about 50 million Americans with this infection. Oral medications are used when curing herpes. Medications like famciclovir (Famvir), valacyclovir (Valtrex), and acyclovir (Zovirax) can prevent the HSV from multiplying. They even help cut down the length of the herpes eruption.
