Common among politically conscious java drinkers, “Organic Fair Trade Coffee” is a phrase we hear a lot, but is not often explained. “Why should I seek out and purchase this particular kind of coffee?” One might ask. “How can I tell which brands fit this description and even then, where can I find it?” Well, hopefully all of those questions can be answered in the following paragraphs.
What does it mean?
Around the world, farmers in poorer nations are simply being paid too little for the amount of beans they produce and labor they put into their work. The movement is simply a demand for these farmers to be paid a reasonable price for the beans they cultivate. Considering how much the average person pays for a cup of coffee, this doesn’t seem like too tall an order.

There is an endless sea of money to be made selling health and fitness products. Specifically, health foods are a great medium for making money.
Now since there is so much money to be made, the market is inundated with myriad products. Unfortunately, this has reached such an extreme that many products being promoted as healthy aren’t healthy by any stretch of the imagination.
So without further ado, here are “healthy” foods that could be sabotaging your progress:
1. Juice: Comparing juice to the actually fruit itself is like comparing apples to oranges, no pun intended. Once you strip a fruit of all its fiber and meaty tissue, the majority of the health benefits are lost. In fact, juice alone is extremely unhealthy because of the high sugar content.
