The last 30 years have presented a variety of different clinical solutions for combating obesity - gastric bypass and laparoscopic gastric band placements included. However despite the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services directive in 2006 which required all Cosmetic Centers to have expert surgeons and equipment, these types of weight loss procedures are still prone to promoting health risks.
Even taking into consideration the fact that complication rates have fallen from 12.2% of patients to 10%, and the 30 day mortality rate has shrunk from 0.28% to 0.20% (a 0.08% drop) - these enhancements are not enough when you factor in the thousands of slimmers who are still willing to undergo these procedures every year.

While a wedge resection, partial or full lobectomy, or pneumonectomy may be necessary, there are other approaches that can be taken to help eliminate cancerous cells. They include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and various targeted therapies. In many cases, doctors will suggest a multi-pronged approach that combines surgical and non-surgical forms of treatment.
Below, we’ll focus primarily on non-surgical paths toward removing lung cancer. We’ll describe when each approach is used, how it is administered, and how it works to help eliminate cancerous cells.

It is a well known fact that the atmosphere and the food we eat and drink are crammed with harmful chemicals that enter the body and add to the build up of toxins that hamper the proper functioning of the body. Add to this the pesticides and fumes we breathe in unknowingly adding to the build up of toxins. Before long the body will begin to reel under the effects of these harmful toxins and will need to be cleansed. This cleansing process is called detoxification.
Detoxification is a total-body process that involves each of the body’s seven channels of elimination-the colon, kidneys, skin, lungs, liver, lymphatic system and blood-each of which must be supported for complete detoxification to occur. The following are some of the most effective ways in which you can facilitate total-body cleansing and detoxification.

Though it has been used for centuries, its fame really began in the 1960s. Dr. Theodore Meyer learned about the use of pau d’arco (pronounced powdy arco) by natives of the tropical rain forest of the Amazon. They had used the inner bark of this hardwood tree as a medicine. Dr. Meyer followed their lead and claimed he successfully cured five advanced cases of leukemia with it.
Now called pau d’arco (pow-DAR-co), which is Portuguese for “bow stick,” the term refers to various trees of the Tabebuia family that grow in the mountains of Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Peru.
In the 1950s, Brazilian researchers confirmed that this ancient medicine is indeed anti-bacterial. Among more recent investigations:

Muira puama also called “potency wood”, is a small tree that grows to 5 feet high and is native to the Brazilian Amazon and other parts of the Amazon rainforest. Now-a-days, people are preferring treatment of lower blood pressure naturally instead of using blood pressure medicines.
Muira puama has been used traditionally by tribes in Brazil and the surrounding South American countries. It is a popular, though not well researched, herbal supplement in Europe and North and South Americas.
Murapuama has been used as a herb in Europe for some time and is listed in the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia, a source on herbal medicine from the British Herbal Medicine Association, and is recommended for the treatment of dysentery and impotence.
