Best Weight Loss Supplement For Those With A Sweet Tooth

Most weight loss supplements today target fat loss from two opposite directions. The first are fat burners that work through a process called thermogenesis, and the second are the appetite suppressants that create a feeling of fullness.

You can find them under many different names, but the most common are Green Tea and Hoodia. Green tea has become very popular over the last few years not only for its weight loss features, but also because it is quite healthy for you. There are many scientific studies to back its claims and most agree that it is a fine weight loss supplement.

Hoodia is a relatively new product that has its origins in Southwestern Africa. Its been touted by many as a miracle weight loss supplement because it supposedly tricks the brain into thinking that its full. Most of the claims are anecdotal with very few scientific studies to support its claims. Also, the quality of this weight loss supplement varies substantially from company to company.

Although most weight loss supplements work fairly well, they may have all missed the boat as to what really causes people to get fat. Studies over the last 30 years show that fructose may be the real cause of obesity in America. Here is a quote from the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition:

evidence that a marked increase in the use of HFCS, and therefore in total fructose consumption, preceded the obesity epidemic and may be an important contributor to this epidemic in the United States.

With the fast pace of todays society, more and more Americans eat there meals at fast food restaurants, coffee and doughnut shops. Most of the foods found there contain heaps of sugar and HFCS.

Even supermarkets arent safe from HFCS. Most packaged, boxed and canned foods, not to mention sodas, now contain HFCS instead of sugar. Its no wonder Americans are getting fatter and fatter.

Recently there has been a new weight loss discovery that shows a lot of promise. A new compound has been found to actually block fructose utilization for the formation of fat. This all-natural compound comes from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis, more commonly known as Chinese skullcap and Black catechu in India.

The process by which it works is complicated, but basically it works by decreasing two obesity markers circulating in the blood stream. These two markers can be found in high levels in the chronically obese.

This new compound significantly decreases these obesity markers by inhibiting fat conversion via fructose pathways. It essentially prevents fructose from getting a one-way ticket to your waistline.

This all-natural weight loss supplement shows great promise and may very well hold the key to the obesity epidemic. At the very least, its a step in the right direction.

If your live style requires you to eat out a lot, or if you just eat a lot of sweets, you may want to give this new weight loss supplement a try.

    That’s a weak argument. There’s a real simple solution: stop smoking. You won’t pay taxes on tobacco, you’re health won’t suffer and if you’re poor, you’ll have more money to spend on more important things. I can’t believe with all the negative effects of smoking that people continue to smoke. Don’t think of it as a tobacco tax, think of it as a tax for being stupid.
