E Cigarettes Vs. Real Cigarettes

The WHO, the World Health Organization, has gone on record as saying that they’re, to put it simply, “not so sure” about e cigarettes. It seems like these personal vaporizers are a great alternative to smoking, so why is the WHO so skeptical? Well… Electronic smokes CAN be used to quit smoking, but their primary purpose for many is to inhale nicotine in a safer way than smoking a cigarette, and the WHO is simply not going to sign on to recreational drug use.

Of course, whether or not the World Health Organization will sign on… That doesn’t really have any effect on whether or not the electronic cigarette is, in fact, better for you than traditional paper-and-tobacco cigarettes. ECigarette makers can’t advertise their products as being WHO-Approved, but there are, nevertheless, advantages over the traditional smoke…

The major problem with smoking is that it’s… Well, SMOKING. You’re really not supposed to be inhaling smoke into your lungs, but quitting can be incredibly hard work. Well studies have shown that people who switch to the vaporizer have an easier time breathing, they cough less, their sense of taste and smell returns and they can get in daily exercise without any unpleasant panting and wheezing.

The smell of tobacco smoke annoys a lot of people. Most e-cigarettes are actually built and designed after a cigarette, so it feels like smoking, you still have the little stick that you use to keep your hands busy when you’re anxious, when you’re bored or stressed. It really is all of the benefits of smoking with very few of the negative side effects.

Lower Health Risks

This is the big one, of course. It’s the smoke that kills you, not the nicotine. Nicotine has some health side effects such as constricting arteries and slowing blood flow while smoking, but you won’t get lung or throat cancer from vapors. In this day and age, they say that everything can give you cancer, but at the very least, with a vaporizer, you can stop deliberately contracting it for no good reason.
