How To Increase Exercise Post Oxygen Consumption

Exercise post oxygen consumption refers to the amount of oxygen your body has to consume after a workout. As the amount of oxygen needed increases, so does the amount of calories burned.

Now the bad news here is that many people do not know the right strategies for maximizing their caloric burn.

So here is how to increase exercise post oxygen consumption or the amount of calories you burn outside of the gym:

1. Drain your muscles: The less energy stores your muscles have after your workout, the higher your body temperature will be. And a higher temperature translates into more calorie burning and more fat loss. You see, it takes energy to replace the burned energy in your muscles.

2. Make your workouts as hard as possible: This is a great strategy for maximizing the caloric burn of your workouts. After all, the harder you exercise, the greater the metabolic demand. So make sure you go as hard as possible.

3. Never exercise on empty: You need to have a snack before exercise if more than one and a half hours have passed since your last meal. Having some nutrients before exercise is a great way to increase your output for better caloric burn.

4. Full recover in between workouts: Fully recovering is a great strategy to give your body the necessary platform for performing at a maximum. So never exercise if you feel a lot of soreness in your body. This will backfire on you.

5. Decrease rest periods piecemeal: By slowly decreasing the rest periods of your workouts, you will increase the amount of calories burned. So always try to slowly decrease rest while increasing the total amount of exercise.

6. Recruit more muscle mass per workout: By using more muscle mass you will further increase the demands on your body. Thus, a good option here would be to use some combination of circuit training and traditional bodybuilding.

If you burn more calories outside of the gym, you will be able to lose weight while exercising less. So don’t delay here, take action now so you can finally get results!
