Irritable?

by Arthur Williamson

Does the slightest thing set you on edge? Do you find yourself getting annoyed when circumstances don’t call for it? Do you know someone that gets upset or emotional too quickly?

The above signs can indicate a hormonal imbalance.

Hormone balance is key to keeping bodily functions running properly. The word hormone had it origins from a Greek word ‘hormon’ and originally meant to set in motion, impel, urge on. The hormone system in the body sets into motion, maintains, governs and regulates the tissues and organs in the body.

Glands manufacture the secretions known as hormones. You can find out where the glands are located in the body if you do a google image search for “glands.” You’ll be able to see the different types of glands by doing so.

The young have a vibrancy and vigor for life but as one ages, hormones are created in the same quantities. The physical manifestations show up as loosing ones hair, lack of energy, being cranky, impatient and irritated easily. The lower production of hormones can be evidenced as weight gain, more fat, difficulties sleeping, decreased muscle tone and many other indicators of hormonal imbalance.

Sometimes an imbalance of hormones can start as early as thirty-five years old. More often an imbalance starts showing symptoms around 45 years old and on up. Sometimes the distress on the body from an imbalance of hormones can start early, continue as one ages and get worse.

It used to be the accepted norm for the symptoms to occur the the people in our modern society and it was called “Middle Age” and “Old Age”. Weight would start to accumulate, skin would sag, wrinkles would show up and a myriad of other things would occur.

This does not have to be the fate of modern man. S/he can age and still have vigor and youthfulness in older age. What can be done is have your hormone levels tested to find out if there is an imbalance. If so, the imbalance of hormones can be corrected with an all natural therapy that is known as BHRT (Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy). The reason it is called bio-identical is because the hormones are identical to the hormones that your body creates thus you are adding in something that is easy to assimilate.

BHRT is a therapy that has been used now for over 20 years. It personally addresses the situation of an imbalance of hormones on an individual basis. The precise mixture of the natural plants that the individual needs is mixed just for the person.

The differences between bio-identical and synthetic hormones are as follows. Synthetic hormones are mass produced and created from an animal and chemical mixture. Bio-identical hormones are created for each individual according to the test results, created from all natural plants therefore making it simple for the body to recognize and use the hormones.

Utilizing Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, one will find that s/he is no longer irritable, grumpy, tired and annoyed so often. BHRT has had some amazing results in helping people feel the vigor of youth again.
