Neck arthritis or neck pain is caused by the joint pain conditions like rheumatoid, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and others. It is a joint pain condition where the cartilage in the joint wears down due to injury or aging process or combination of both.
The symptoms of neck arthritis that is found commonly among the people suffering are pain in the neck and stiffness. Standing instead of lying down can make these symptoms severe; reason being simple the effect of gravity on spine increases when standing. Sleeping in night also makes the situation worse sometimes.
